The Central Railway Museum contains a “crown molding” layout loop in G scale, separate rooms for pre-1960 Lionel and American Flyer operating layouts and collections, and a growing collection of local railroad history artifacts. The centerpiece is a double decked 54’ x 30’ HO layout set in 1958.
Completion Percentage: HO layout: 100% for track and basic land forms, 90% for structures and scenery. Other: CRM collections/displays collectively occupy about 110% of the available space –eek!
This is one of the premier clubs/museums in the entire region. The HO layout is beautifully scenicked with many well-done and interesting or amusing scenes. Hand-built signal towers have recently been installed. This layout is available for both Tours and Ops sessions.
