There will be a consignment area, so bring railroad related items you wish to sell. The consignment room should be open Thursday evening and Friday morning, accepting items for sale.
Here is how it will work:
When you bring your item in to the consignment room, you will be given one envelope for each item that you want to sell. You will need to place your name, item description and sales price on the envelope. Place your item and envelope on the consignment table. [printable envelope template]
When a buyer wants to buy your item they will take the item and envelope to the consignment manager. He will put your cash in the envelope and keep it for you until you pick it up.
The Palmetto Division will have a 10% administration fee to whatever price you put on your consignment sale items.
Sellers can pick up their unsold items and their cash between 4:00 and 6:00 pm on Saturday.
Note that these transactions will be CASH ONLY. No credit card transactions for consignment sales.
