Jon Judd's Colorado Joint Line

HO, 38’ x 38’ version of the Colorado Joint Line in October 1987. Why then? Well, the Tennessee Pass was closed for several months in 1987, and all traffic had to come south through Denver. Santa Fe, D&RGW owned the line, with BN as a tenant. More than half of the layout is devoted to modeling the shared main lines, yards, and industrial trackage just south of downtown Denver. There is also a sizeable mountain to cross on the route to Pueblo.
100% completion for both trackage and scenery.
Excellent urban/industrial scenes with lots of sidings and switching action. Excellent mountain scenery as well. This layout was designed with interesting and rather extensive ops sessions in mind.
