Ken Majchrzak's Swamp Layout

It is a modern era short line connecting railroad.  The layout is located outdoors in my backyard.  It is an elevated layout built on PVC lumber.  It is a large double loop layout with over 400 feet of mainline track, a large railroad yard and many industrial sidings.  It is built for operations.  All my locomotives are battery powered with Airwire radio control.  I have 5 locomotives and almost 100 freight cars. The layout is kidney shaped covering an area of approximately 75 feet by 100 feet. Track is 100% complete, scenery about 5%.  I am scratch building all my buildings and I am hoping to have about 50% of the scenery done by convention time.
