3 main lines of 200ft each carry modern BNSF & UP trains through the Cajon Pass in California. The owner spent 8 years making and using 60+ rock molds to create the gorgeous rocky desert scenery that covers about half the layout. The other half features an equally impressive yard, roundhouse, and diesel shop at the base of the grade up through the pass.
This layout was featured in Model Railroader in the January 2017 issue. The rockwork here is world-class; Les is also leading a Swamp Rabbit clinic on modeling realistic rock formations.
Track and Scenery is100% complete, except for ongoing addition of small details.
