The Acadian Coast Eastern is a 2 foot narrow gauge layout set in the Penobscot Bay area of coastal Maine, struggling to survive in 1935. The layout occupies a 17' x 16' room, plus a small staging yard in another room. The layout is heavily oriented toward switching operations and includes several tricky switching puzzles. The Acadian Coast Eastern is operationally complete, but only about 60% scenically complete.

3 or 4 operators are needed to run a simulated day in 2-3 hours of real time, moving 60-70 freight cars to new industry locations via a car card system. Guest operators are encouraged to bring their own Digitrax throttles if they have them.
